How do I activate the module?

A purchase confirmation will be emailed (via wikisupport@canamsoftware.com) as soon as your purchase is completed. For activation, go to License Manager to verify the license key contained in your invoice (under Billing Information, against Canam Wiki Software Key). Please note that this invoice is different from the one sent to you by the DNN store.

What do I do now that my free trial is over?

Once your 30-day free trial is over, you will need to purchase a license in order to keep using the Canam Wiki. Upon purchasing the appropriate license, you will receive a new key for activation. Simply go to the module License Manager (from the Module Context menu) and enter your key. Voila! You are activated and ready to experience the full power of the Canam Wiki.

What do I do if I haven’t received an invoice with my activation key?

While most activation keys are generated and delivered within minutes of purchase, there are times when it takes a bit longer. Please double check that the email you are waiting on did not land in your junk folder.

If you still have not received the email with your activation code, please email wikisupport@canamsoftware.com with your invoice number and a request for an activation code. We’ll be happy to assist you from there.

I’ve been using the trial version and I just purchased a full license. Do I have to re-install?

You do not need to re-install the module to apply a new license. Just go to the module License Manager (from the module context menu) and use the new key for activation.

May I re-use my license?

You may reuse a permanent license key by de-activating it and then re-activating it when you are ready.
Similarly, a Portal/Enterprise license can be re-used if all instances using the key are deactivated before trying to activate a new instance.
Trial licenses cannot be deactivated nor reused.

How can I add tags to use in the Canam Wiki module?

Canam Wiki is integrated with the DNN Taxonomy system, so it uses tags from the parent website. You can manage tags by going to Admin > Taxonomy section of the website.

How can I show a Table of Contents in my Wiki page?

Insert the {TOC} tag wherever you would like to display a table of contents in a wiki page. Make sure all section titles have H1, H2, or H3 formatting. Don’t forget to turn on the configuration setting "Display anchors for page sections".

What kind of workflow system does the module provide?

The Canam Wiki module provides a two-step Workflow system for both new pages and editing existing pages. Please refer to page 7 & 8 of the User Manual for more information.

Is the source code available for purchase?

At this time, the module source code is not available for purchase.

Does module purchase include unlimited support?

My website appears broken after reinstallation of module. What can I do?

Unfortunately, the re-installation process of Canam Wiki is being affected by a DNN bug. In order to fix this, open the web.config file of your website and remove the duplicate system.serviceModel section. If the problem persists, please contact us at wikisupport@canamsoftware.com.
